1. When a copyright holder requests protection or reports copyright infringement to the Company

A rights holder (hereinafter referred to as the “claimant”) who asserts that their rights have been infringed may submit a “Request for Suspension of Reproduction or Transmission to an Online Service Provider” to the Company, requesting suspension of reproduction or transmission of the relevant post. Upon receipt of such request, the Company shall immediately suspend the reproduction or transmission of the relevant post and notify the user who has reproduced or transmitted the post (hereinafter referred to as the “reproducer or transmitter”) of such fact. After undergoing the prescribed clarification procedure, the Company shall notify the parties of the suspension or resumption of posting of the relevant content.
However, in cases of obvious copyright infringement, the post may be deleted without prior notice.

Step 1. Request Submission

The rights holder shall complete and submit a “Request for Suspension of Reproduction or Transmission to an Online Service Provider” along with supporting documents to the “Copyright Infringement Report Center.”

The submission may be made via mail, fax, or e-mail.

The claimant must accurately provide the required information, including “the title or other identification of the copyrighted work for which reproduction or transmission suspension is requested”, and “the location (such as URL) of the relevant work”. Please note that requests with missing or incomplete information may not be accepted.

Once the claimant’s request is submitted, the Company shall review the contents of the request and verify whether any required information or supporting documents are missing.

Technical measures to block illegal transmission related to copyright infringement

Step 2. Suspension of Reproduction or Transmission and Notification

Upon receiving a request for suspension of reproduction or transmission from the claimant, the Company shall immediately suspend the reproduction or transmission of the relevant post. The Company shall notify the reproducer or transmitter of such suspension and provide a list of the posts for which reproduction or transmission has been suspended.

Step 3. Request for Clarification and Review for Resumption of Reproduction or Transmission

If the reproducer or transmitter wishes to clarify that their post is based on legitimate rights, they shall complete and submit a “Request for Resumption of Reproduction or Transmission to an Online Service Provider” to the “Copyright Infringement Report Center” via mail, fax, or e-mail.

When completing the “Request for Resumption of Reproduction or Transmission,” the reproducer or transmitter must ensure that all statements and supporting documents provided are truthful. Please note that any false statements or forged documents submitted may result in legal liability.

2. When reporting personal information misuse or defamation

Anyone who unlawfully uses or misappropriates another person’s name or resident registration number may be subject to punishment under the Resident Registration Act. If you encounter a case where an existing account appears when attempting to register for membership, or if you experience defamation caused by another user publicly insulting an individual or organization, spreading false information, or disclosing private matters through posts, please contact and report the issue by following the procedure below.

Submit an inquiry or report to the Copyright and Rights Infringement Report Center through the SOOP Help Center. Report

Step 2. Investigation and Action

The manager of the Rights Infringement Report Center shall conduct an investigation and take appropriate measures based on the information submitted.

Step 3. Reply Response

The results of the investigation and the actions taken shall be provided to the reporter.
