(hereinafter referred to as the “Company”) establishes and implements a Youth Protection Policy in accordance with the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., and the Youth Protection Act, to protect minors from harmful information and to ensure that they can grow into healthy individuals.

We will continue to do our best to create a safe and healthy service environment that protects youth from harmful environments.

1. Purpose of Youth Protection Policy
1) Rights to be protected from harmful environments

The Company takes necessary measures to protect youth from environments that may harm their health or pose potential risks.

  • • Acts of coercing or inducing children and youth to engage in sexual activities or similar conduct
  • • Acts in which children and youth are physically, emotionally, or psychologically abused or harassed, or acts in which children and youth abuse or harass others
  • •.Acts of exposing children and youth to physical violence, danger, excessive psychological distress, or fear
  • • Acts in which children and youth possess or use harmful substances or items, such as alcohol, tobacco, drugs, inhalants, hallucinogenic substances, or sexual devices
  • • Acts in which children and youth enter or are employed by harmful businesses for minors, or advertise such establishments
  • • Acts in which children and youth use, or share experiences of using, games, videos, music, publications, or other content rated as not suitable for minors
  • • Content that involves gambling activities or encourages gambling tendencies among children and youth
  • • Acts in which children and youth use inappropriate or offensive language
  • • Acts in which children and youth engage in excessive body exposure or overly sexualized expressions that may cause sexual humiliation or discomfort to the general public
  • • Other content that may infringe upon the rights and interests of children and youth, or hinder or distort their full and balanced personal development
2) Rights to privacy

The Company processes and manages the personal information of minors in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
To provide smooth and stable services for youth, we collect only the minimum personal information necessary, in a lawful and legitimate manner, and do not use it for purposes other than those intended. We also take all necessary measures to ensure the safe management of the information collected. A minor or the minor’s legal guardian may request access to, or correction of, the minor’s personal information.

2. Measures to restrict access to harmful information for juveniles and management thereof
We apply restrictions on illegal or youth-harmful keywords across general search and various services, and systematically manage youth protection by limiting access to services that require age verification.
3. Conducting employee training for the protection of minors from harmful information
The Company provides training to the youth protection officer and service managers on youth-protection laws and regulations, sanction criteria, how to respond when harmful content is discovered, and the reporting procedures for handling violations.
4. Counseling and Grievance Handling for Harmful Content
The Company makes every effort to protect youth from harmful content. You may request counseling or file a grievance related to harmful content by contacting the “SOOP Customer Center” or the “Youth Protection Officer and Department Information” listed below via phone or email.

5. Youth Protection Through Raising Awareness Among All Users
The Company notifies users through the Terms of Service that engaging in inappropriate or harmful behavior may result in service restrictions or civil and criminal liability. When new types of harmful content emerge, the Company promptly shares relevant information via notices or email to protect youth and all users. In addition, the Company strives to promote proper online etiquette by providing various digital-literacy education programs and awareness campaigns.
